Ludo is perhaps the most beloved board game of all time, especially in Pakistan. The game first originated in India, under the name Pachisi, somewhere around the 6th century. The illustration of playing boards on Ajanta caves are the earliest proof of this game to be played in India.
In India, Pachisi was played by several Mughal emperors as well. The great Mughal emperor Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar used to play live Pachisi by using his harem girls.
Other forms of the Pachisi game were launched in England around the late nineteenth century. One of these versions which surfaced around the year 1896, was successfully patented under the name Ludo.
Over the years, as technology took over, we gradually stopped playing Ludo and generally all board games. They have become pretty outdated as people struggle with their jobs and classes and what not. App developers keep coming up with apps that are based on actual games such as Solitaire, Scrabble, etc.

On March 9, 2017, an app called Ludo Star was launched. It didn’t become viral until recently though. I got to know about it a few days back through my roommate, and I downloaded it. Since then, I’ve played 134 games and my win rate is 56% (it’s good, trust me!).
It has several versions such as 1 on 1, team-up, and 4-player. Furthermore, you have the choice to play a quick version, classic, or master. You can even play it offline when you are not connected to the internet. However, the most significant component of the game is that you have to place a bet before each game, with fake gold, of course. It can be as low as 50 coins, and as high as 1 million (depending on how much gold you got).
This game has become the new trend lately and almost everyone’s playing it. Most people in my friends’ list, who play Ludo Star, are usually online there, and playing it most of the day (and night!). Here’s what some of them have to say about Ludo Star:

The last thing might sound weird, but with many Suspicious things, it could be good to Google it, for example Zemana thought my default start page was suspicious, however it’s was this site, so if you would have Googled it you would have discovered nothing is going on and it’s just a false report. Like any other security / removal tool it has a virus vault where you can find any infection it removed, and restore it if needed, nothing special but still a good feature, perhaps you mistakenly removed a file marked as malicious that wasn’t malicious, it’s a good thing you can then restore it.

I quite liked the design, it’s clean, it only shows the things you need, there is no need to show more, the user wants to scan his computer and be done. There are already too many programs out there with complex menu’s and way too many options which confuses the end-user and confusion is something you don’t want when dealing with malicious items on your computer.

In testing AVC Ultimate, I found that while everything worked sooner or later, several problems cropped up along the way that might prevent a beginner from ever getting much of anything to work. The full program takes less than a minute to download and then another few minutes to extract and install. A free trial is also available, but the trial is limited to converting only the first three minutes of any video file, so you can’t use the trial version for copying anything close to an entire DVD movie. As an experienced video editor accustomed to working with name-brand products from vendors like Avid and Adobe, I was a bit curious about AVCLabs. I found nothing more than an email address (no physical address, no phone number) on the company’s web site. All tech support is via email. A bit of investigation then revealed that their URL is registered through GoDaddy. So I emailed AVCLabs, asking who they are. I never got an answer to that one. I then tried emailing with a tech question. I did get a response to this question the next day, but as I’ll explain below, it wasn’t very helpful. Performance I installed version 4.3.9 on an Acer Aspire One mini-notebook running Microsoft Windows 7. When the program launched, I was a bit taken aback by the simplicity of the typewriter-style (monospace) font in the “Getting Started” main screen. Not surprisingly, “Add DVD” is the top choice here. So I popped a fresh copy of “The Matrix” into the I/O Magic external DVD drive I hooked up. In addition to the usual Windows autoplay options that showed up, another “Opening DVD” popup appeared that said, “Analyzing DVD video disc structure, please wait…” After about 20 minutes, I got tired of waiting and clicked the “Skip” button. A message came up saying that the DVD opened successfully. A list of what appeared to be chapters showed up on the screen, seemingly the contents of the DVD. Then, however, I realized that this list repeated the same files, over and over, many times. There were several different files mixed in too, with lengths of a few minutes. Bonus materials and previews, maybe? Endless Analysis Also, a bug in the program made the software keep analyzing and re-analyzing the DVD’s contents, without ever stopping. I closed the program and tried it again, and the same thing happened. This time I clicked “Skip” after just ten minutes. When I wrote to tech support about this problem, the answer I got back asked me to send a screen shot and told me to just pick the main video file. It didn’t really address the problem I was encountering, though. So OK, I figured, one could easily learn to stop the “Analyze” process manually, and then only check one of the many resulting files to convert. So how did this move pan out? I selected the Apple iPod Video MPEG-4 (.mp4) output format from an extensive list of choices (about 20 for Apple alone, including numerous iPhone, iPad, iPod and Apple TV options). I then clicked the “Convert Now” button. I clicked “Continue” and the conversion began. A Tale of Two Tests
I decided to conduct two movie tests: copy to my iPod, and copy to another DVD. I expected that the iPod version would look great, since it involves a smaller frame size with less detail. I further anticipated that the DVD copy would not look as good as the original, due to the re-transcoding that’s required in copying from a “copy-protected” DVD. As things turned out, it took about two-and-a-half hours to create the .mp4 format file for my iPod, just a little bit longer than the movie itself. The iPod .mp4 version looked excellent. The video was completely smooth, with no jerkiness. Audio was very good, with excellent synchronization. There was really nothing to complain about here. A Longer Story How about copying the movie DVD to another DVD, though? That was a different and more complex story. I had to start the whole process again. As soon as I changed the output format to DVD (to make a copy of a disc), the Select DVD Drive popup changed to say, “Please select DVD drive to be ripped.” I popped in “The Matrix” again and the software started analyzing again. This time I clicked “Skip” after just two minutes. Rather than just the main movie file, I checked all five files. The main one was 2:16 long. One was 32 seconds long, another was 12 seconds long, and two were 0 seconds long each. I decided to see if AVC Ultimate could copy any bonus material or whatever else was on the DVD. Unfortunately, this proved to be a very time consuming mistake. It took several hours to convert, or “encode,” the video file. Unlike audio CDs, which can be directly copied bit for bit, copying of movie DVDs is technically prevented within the DVD hardware. So a program like AVC gets around this by first decoding the video (essentially playing it), and then re-encoding it (recording it) in the same MPEG-2 format used by the DVD player that it was just decoded from. After AVC finally finished this “converting” process, a DVD menu screen appeared asking which style of menu to create, and whether I wanted to add background music or an image to the menu. I went with the default, and I popped in a blank DVD+R disc. I had a choice of burn speed, and I went with a conservative 8x (figuring this more likely to succeed than the faster 16x). CCleaner has two main uses. One, it scans for and deletes useless files, freeing up space. Two, it erases private data like your browsing history and list of most recently opened files in various programs.
CCleaner Is Disk Cleanup On Steroids
However, Disk Cleanup doesn’t go as far as it could. For example, while it can delete Internet Explorer’s cache files, it won’t touch cache files for other browsers like Chrome and Firefox. It won’t delete the useless setup folders NVIDIA’s graphics driver installers create when you update your graphics drivers, which can consume hundreds of megabytes each. CCleaner does do these things and more. It takes the Disk Cleanup concept and runs with it, extending it to more data in Windows and third-party programs that the Windows Disk Cleanup tool won’t touch. Why Running CCleaner Every Day Could Slow Down Your Web Browsing You could use CCleaner constantly, running it every day with the default settings. However, this would actually slow your computer down in real use. This is because CCleaner is set up to delete your browser’s cache files by default.
However, if you were to constantly clear your browser’s cache, it would have to re-download the same files over and over. That means that clearing your browser’s cache constantly is a bad idea for performance reasons — constantly emptying the cache means you lose the benefits of having one.
Of course, the cache can also be a privacy concern. Someone with access to your computer could inspect your browser’s cache files to see what websites you’ve been visiting, just as they could look at your browser history. This is why browsers don’t save cache files when you browse in private-browsing mode. If you want to run CCleaner regularly and aren’t worried about people with access to your computer snooping on your browsing, you should disable the Internet Cache-clearing options.
Will Using CCleaner Speed Up My PC?
However, occasionally cleaning temporary files — whether with CCleaner or the Disk Cleanup tool included with Windows — can help speed up your PC a bit. Many geeks can attest to computers performing more quickly after they wiped away useless junk files, and even Microsoft says “old cached and temporary files” can cause your computer to slow down. Why this works is unclear — certainly, if your computer’s hard drive is very full, freeing up space will help it perform faster. If your computer has an SSD, that SSD will slow down as it fills up — so ensuring you don’t have lots of wasted space is a good idea. Some programs may be badly written and may choke when they have lots of temporary files, antivirus software may insist on scanning the junk files and slowing things down, or Windows itself may have issues with a large amount of files for some reason — we’re not completely sure why this is. The short answer is that occasionally deleting useless temporary files can help your PC stay fast — who are we to argue with Microsoft, who insist that this can help speed up your PC? — but you don’t have to run it constantly. Once a week should be more than enough, and even Disk Cleanup will do a lot on its own. If you have an old PC that you’ve never run CCleaner or even Disk Cleanup on, you should give it a go — you’ll likely free up a lot of space and may even notice a performance improvement.
Choosing What to Clean
If you do end up using CCleaner, you can select the types of data you want it to remove from the Cleaner tab. The Windows section contains options for cleaning data included with Windows, while the Applications section contains cleaning options for third-party applications you have installed. Be sure to check the Applications section — if you don’t want CCleaner constantly wiping your browser’s cache, you’ll need to disable that option there. CCleaner will also wipe out all your website logins if you have it clear your browser’s cookies, which will force you to log into websites you use over and over.

CCleaner has a number of other advanced features, from managing your startup programs and locating duplicate files to securely wiping disks. The Hack Security section will record any incorrect password attempts. auto protect Stealth mode is the one feature I like the best. Using this feature you can assign a particular hotkey to launch Folder Lock application and then hide the files from Start menu, Desktop, and even from Program Files. But make sure you always remember the hotkey assigned to Folder Mount or you might end up losing all the data you have stored.
